Design Projects

This is a collection of projects that showcases my design capability and process. I hope to combine my engineering skills and creative abilities to develop products and solutions.

Design: Projects

3D Printed Guitar Accessory

I spearheaded the development of this 3D printed guitar capo that fulfilled my need for a device that quickly allowed me to play different guitar tunings. After three iterations and market research, my team and I finished the working prototype that has no equivalent on the market.

Handmade Wooden Lamp

My third year apartment at UCLA didn't have an overhead light so I decided to solve the issue over the summer by creating my own source of ambient light. An LED strip is coiled around an interior pole and provides light that filters through the original, Japanese inspired design that I cut into the panels using a jigsaw.

3D Printed Time Lapse Camera

I designed and 3D printed a container and mechanism for my Raspberry Pi and its camera to take easy time lapse recordings. It was difficult to use the camera module and adjust the angle of use so I devised a way to hold all of the components and adjust the angle.

UI/UX Practice

To familiarize myself with the aspects of User Interaction and User Experience, I signed up for a weekly design challenge to expand my portfolio and learn how to consider human factors. Check out my blog for examples and sketches!
